Casino.com now publishes casino comparisons, free game demos and news. The former casino has stopped accepting registrations and deposits. If you're looking for your old account, an old bonus or somewhere to play, you'll need to keep that change in mind.

Updated 2 November 2026 by the CasinoMenu team.

Is Casino.com still a casino?

The domain is still online, but its role has changed. It now has comparisons, free game demonstrations and industry news. You can read about casinos there; that doesn't give you an account with the former Casino.com gambling service.

The old operation no longer accepts registrations or deposits. That's why this casino is marked as closed in our directory, even though you can still open the website. An active news page doesn't mean the old cashier has reopened.

If you see a bonus advertised on today's site, check which casino it belongs to. A featured casino has its own account arrangements and offer rules. Don't assume your old Casino.com login, balance or bonus will move across when you follow a link.

For questions about money left in an old account, begin with the company details in your original emails and terms. The current publisher's name or contact form alone won't tell you who handles those questions. Ask about responsibility for the old account before sending personal documents.

What did the former casino offer?

Our earlier Casino.com review, dated 28 May 2022, associated the casino with Mansion Group. It described games from Playtech, Microgaming, NetEnt and Play'n GO, with a sports section alongside the casino. Those details belong to the former service.

The old review also listed rand among the available currencies and described telephone, email and live-chat support. If you kept a screenshot of those details, it may help you recognise the account you used. It shouldn't be treated as a guide to today's publishing website.

Game names can be especially confusing here. A free demo on the current website may look like something you remember playing through your casino account. That familiar game doesn't mean you're logged into the old service or that an old balance is available to spend.

If you're sorting through saved emails, use the account reference and company name as well as the brand name. Keep the original registration message with the account terms. Those documents give you a clearer starting point than a new review of a similarly named promotion.

Can you still claim the old Casino.com bonuses?

The former casino's offers aren't available to claim here. The old review described a first-deposit match, free spins, a registration incentive and ongoing promotions. Don't use those old instructions as a reason to send money anywhere now.

An old search result can still lead you to a page full of offers. Before reading the headline amount, look at the casino name and check whether the offer belongs to the site you meant to visit. The rules for a different casino won't explain your old Casino.com bonus.

If a promotion matters to an existing account question, save the email and terms you received when you accepted it. Write down which deposit qualified, what bonus was credited and whether any conditions were still outstanding. Keep cash, bonus credit and free-spin winnings clearly labelled.

Don't guess a missing condition from the amount of the bonus. If you can't find the original terms, ask for the version that applied to your account. Explain which promotion and approximate period you mean so the question is easier to answer.

Do the free demos use your old balance?

A free game demonstration is separate from your old casino account. Playing a demo on a publishing page doesn't recover a pending withdrawal or give you access to money held in that former account. Treat it as a way to look at a game.

Keep any screenshot of your old balance separate from a screenshot of a demo. When asking about a payment, send the account or transaction details that relate to that payment. A demo screen won't explain how much you deposited or requested to withdraw.

How do you prepare an old account query?

Start with a short timeline. Include your account reference, relevant deposit dates, the date of a withdrawal request and the last reply you received. If you still have a balance screenshot, save it with its date and the surrounding account details.

Separate what you paid in from bonus credits and winnings. A single total can hide the part of the balance you're actually asking about. If a withdrawal had already been requested, include the request confirmation as well as the earlier balance.

Keep payment receipts and support emails together. If you were asked for identity documents, note when the request arrived and whether you replied. You don't need to attach those private documents to every follow-up just to explain the sequence of events.

Your opening message should say what you want answered. That might be the status of a withdrawal, a copy of account records or an explanation of a missing payment. Follow it with the key dates and transaction references rather than a long account of unrelated games.

Before sending identity documents or bank statements, ask whether the recipient handles former Casino.com accounts and how documents should be sent securely. A general editorial inbox may be intended for questions about articles. Keep passwords and full financial details out of public comments.

If someone claims to have taken over your account, ask for an official explanation of the company, account transfer and treatment of balances. Don't rely on a familiar logo or page design. Keep that explanation with your original documents before acting on any request.

CasinoMenu can't access the former casino's database or decide an account dispute. If you ask your payment provider about a transaction, give the accurate dates and references and ask which procedure applies. A change to the website doesn't itself promise a refund.

What about old licence references?

An old licence reference doesn't tell you that the former casino is open for play today. Before choosing another gambling site, read the National Gambling Board guidance for South Africa. Keep that decision separate from your old account query.

Where can you compare other casinos?

Our Springbok review explains its rand offers and the rules around playing through a bonus and cashing out. Look at the first deposit separately from the larger package so you can judge the part you might actually use.

For another game selection to compare, see our Lucky Days review. Read the banking and promotion details before choosing. These are separate casinos, and neither review means your old Casino.com account has moved there.

You can also choose to stop here. If an unresolved balance makes you feel you need to win money back, pause before depositing elsewhere. Our responsible gambling guidance and the South African Responsible Gambling Foundation can help you take that step. Gambling is for adults aged 18+.

Our verdict

Casino.com is now a publishing site, and we'd treat its former casino as closed. For an old account, focus on your original paperwork and the right contact. For a new comparison, judge each separate casino on its own terms instead of following an old bonus headline.
